The Hunt is on!

Last weekend was the start of hunting season.

I can't wait to get going. I got drawn for Cow Elk and some kind of buck. I can't remember if it's a white tale or a mule deer.

I have to wait on dad to go. First of all because he has the truck. Second of all he knows where he's going. Meaning he knows all the guys who's property we want to hunt on. I'm hoping that we can go this next weekend and be done in 1 hour. That's what happened the last time they went hunting. 

So far I have not shot a single animal. This year is my year. I'd better get something. I hate donating all of my tag money to the conservation society without getting any meat for it.

Sigh...

Still, 60$ is really cheap to get the same amount of meat as a cow. And all you have to do is cut it up yourself.

Finishing off some school work. I got 3/4 of my marking done and 1/2 of my year plans are done. I'm not even procrastinating that bad this time. There is still a chance that I'll lose my momentum.

Still not done knitting anything. Bugger.
