Summer??? are you there?

I'm sitting at my desk with my window open.

My neighbour just mowed his lawn, and I'm sitting in a cloud of fresh grass smell! It's lovely!
(compared to the baby poo smell I had to deal with this morning, this must be heaven!)

For the past 2 weeks it has been raining. Constantly!! The sun does come out, but by dinner time the rain is coming down. I'm a bit sick of it. Even when it's warm outside, I don't dare venture out for fear of a sudden downpour.

Summer is taking it's sweet time coming out to play.

Today seems promising. It's not supposed to rain until AFTER dinner.

HEAR THAT!! AFTER DINNER!!! 

I might even be able to clean the deck so we can stain the stupid thing this year.

I feel that the weather is like a teenager. It never listens, and always tries to ruin family events.

SPF's Birthday was this past weekend. We got a good 2 hours of sun before the rain rolled in. We mad scrambled for the cars and then it poured. Not an hour later, BOOM sun out again.

Even though we had a moody sky, the birthday party was fantastic.  :)

I think I'm still tired, but I can nap every day at noon if I need to. Yah for babies on a schedule.

Now it's the countdown until the UK! Can't wait to go on this trip.

I promise I'll post pictures.

Now I have to go get my strawberry rhubarb bread out of the oven.
