When you run out of things to do.

I should never run out of things to do.

I'm home all day. There are probably a million things I could work on.

I have house stuff, cooking stuff, crafty stuff (about 500,000 things right there), and kid stuff. Yet I always feel like I have nothing to do.

AND EVERYTHING..... at the same time.

It's a very frustrating feeling.

Like today. It's a grey day. Leftover rain is still falling. Today I have ideas. Things that I should do.

Clean some of the house! Make Chili (this one will probably happen)? Now should I go all out and make fresh buns too?? or do I cheap out and warm some up from the freezer?

Then the complexities of child rearing also factor in.

Can I make a batch of buns before the boy wakes up? Will he try to climb the stairs while I'm not looking again? Did I hide all the cords? Hey WHAT'S THAT THING IN HIS MOUT- oh it's his tongue. ha.

Now if children could just look after themselves. That's the life right there.

For now I think I'm going to go get some breakfast. And I should probably get some for the wee lad as well.

Since he can't take care of himself yet. Shock!

TIME TRAVEL!!!

If I told you I got lost in an inter-dimesional worm hole. How many of you would buy that?

None!?

Fine then! No Space Travel souvenirs for you then!

I didn't post for 2 years. I thought about it. More than once actually. I let other things get in the way.

** cough cough Candy Crush cough cough **

Time to get back in the saddle I suppose.

Much has happened in the past 2 years. I got my continuous contract at work. I got Pregnant and had a baby boy. I went to Cuba for christmas. I went to Vancouver for another christmas. I still love my house. I still haven't posted pictures of said house. (yes I re-read my blog to see what I was chatting about 2 years ago) My Grandma moved here.

Life is pretty good.

I want to get in the habit of blogging here again. Before I go back from Maternity leave. I think if I can make it a habit it might stick. But I'm not going to hold an axe over my head to blog either. I must find a balance and strike it!!! WITH VENGEANCE!

So for now I will leave you with a picture of my boy. He's a cutie.
I warned you now!!

Just like his mommy!
